The PMC 1300 Series expands the size possibilities in round or non-round recessed bottom containers, creating packages up to 12 inches in height with large cross sections.

Packaging created on the PMC 1300 Series features a rolled top edge design and double-sealed bottom, to offer superior resistance to moisture transfer. The use of barrier-coated, skived and hemmed paperboard results in a package with vertical compression strength, easy pourability and excellent freshness protection.

The PMC 1300 Series is designed for maximum production flexibility in response to the demands of downstream product production. It is capable of producing at in-line speeds up to 120 CPM, and features variable-speed drives with PLC controls to automatically adjust package production rates to variations in product flow. Cycle stop and idle mode functions are built in, allowing PMC 1300 Series to stop and start production on demand with a minimum of material waste and lag time.

Operators benefit from a design that maximizes machine uptime and ease of use. Operation centers around a touch screen display for easy, direct machine control and instant user access to diagnostic data. Added features like height change tooling and a splice-detect bottom feeder cut the time needed to make changes in tooling or roll stock.
