Two Piece Paperboard Beverage Cups

Two-piece, single wrap paper cups produced on Paper Machinery Corporation’s line of forming machines are the finest available for both hot and cold beverage applications. PMC's cup forming machines produce leak resistant cups with tight, and smooth rolled top curls for a majority of customers supplying the food service industries.

Cold Beverage Cups

The industry standard is the PMC-1002 machine, which forms cups at speeds of 300 cpm. The PMC-1002 produces cups ranging in size from 4oz. to 32 oz. PMC also offers the versatile PMC-1250 machine for forming cup sizes of 4 oz. to 46 oz. at speeds up to 165 cpm. And the new PMC 2000S servo forming machine forms cup sizes from 4 oz. to 22 oz. at speeds of up to 200 cpm. With one-shift changeovers it's ideal for short runs.

Hot Drink Cups

The standard hot drink cup is formed on PMC-1002 machines. Better insulation against heat transfer is desired for some products and PMC has collaborated with a variety of materials suppliers and converters to meet these needs. One option is a single face corrugated blank wrapped and glued to a paper cup on PMC’s OW-800 machine at speeds up to 150 cpm. Another option is ThermaSense, a foam laminated paperboard formed as a two piece cup on either the PMC-1002 or PMC-1250 machine models.

Foam Beverage Cups

PMC developed a high quality foam cup by refining paper cup forming technology to fit foam's unique characteristics. A refined top curl design, a deeper bottom recess, and more effective heating and sealing techniques were all part of the development of the foam cup.

Handled Beverage Cups

Handled paper cups provide a unique solution to producers of hot beverage cups. Applying a handle to a paper hot cup on the PMC H100-FHA lowers production costs by allowing the cup's sidewall thickness to be reduced, so less paper is needed. Flameless hot-air sealing eliminates the sloppiness of glue for cleaner, neater handle application and better seal integrity.
