Convolute Plastic Containers Formed at 225 CPM on the PMC 1002 Machine

Booth # S-1552
PackExpo International 2004
November 7 - 11

Visit our booth to see a new kind of packaging formed with new technology that may be meaningful for your business. You will see a PMC 1002P machine forming pre-printed blanks into convolute containers at 225 cpm. So what’s so special – PMC has been doing this for years. The difference is that these are PLASTIC, more specifically, formed from a special polypropylene “recipe”. This new technology is called Barrier Plus™ combining the barrier capabilities of plastic with the quality printing associated with paperboard. ProCal is the first commercial user of this Barrier Plus™ technology. We are pleased to announce that their Barrier Plus™ application has won a 2004 Ameristar Award.

In addition, PMC will be presenting this Barrier Plus™ program at the New Product Spotlight forum at 12:00 Noon, Sunday, November 7. This new program is sponsored by PMMI and will be presented within McCormick Place.
