Milwaukee, WI, May 17, 2011 - Barrier Plus™, the revolutionary packaging technology created by Paper Machinery Corporation, continues to garner awards. WorldStar presented PMC with a WorldStar Award for Barrier Plus promotional the beverage cup.
Barrier Plus™, the first preprinted, two-piece convolute plastic container became eligible for the WorldStar upon winning an AmeriStar award for Barrier Plus Promotional Beverage Cups in 2010. WorldStar Awards, the pre-eminent international award in packaging, are presented only to packages that have won recognition in a national competition.
The Barrier Plus program has focused on traditional cup and container markets with an emphasis on the promotional segments.
