Subject: Oil Pan Magnets

Recommendations: 

After changing oil in the PMC-1001 and cleaning the magnets in the sump make sure to replace them in a position that is not directly under the pickup tube. The magnets will eliminate the needed gap between the pickup tube and the base required to allow full volume flow into the oil system. You will be able to recognize the situation right away because the pump will cavitate making excessive noise and it could damage the oil pump.
