Subject: Transfer Turret — Clamping Hub

Recommendations: 

The clamping hub on the transfer turret on the PMC-1001 has a torque setting of 30 ft-lbs for the six screws used to lock the hub. It is very important that the torque setting be used because excess force allows the hub to travel past center and lock in to the softer aluminum housing. Once this occurs it is very difficult to unlock the hub without damaging the aluminum turret.
