Subject: Attendance Policy Update

As I’m sure you are aware Governor Evers has issued a “safer-at-home” order for the entire state of Wisconsin. Under that order, businesses are required to be closed unless they meet certain exceptions. We have received letters from several different customers designating Paper Machinery Corporation as a “Critical Infrastructure Supplier”. We will therefore remain open and operating as usual. Attached is a copy of the letter we have received from one of our customers.

In recognition of the COVID-19 virus shutdown statewide, we are limiting our work schedule to 40 hours per week effective next Monday, March 30th.  Our temporary attendance policies regarding the use of unpaid time and PTO will remain in effect. If you would like to see those policies and other important information online, go to www.papermc.com and click on the tab that says “Employees Only”. Your user name is your first initial and your last name (no spaces). Your password is the last four digits of your social security number.

We continue to encourage everyone to practice social distancing and good hygiene around all work areas. Employees who are working from home are asked to continue to do so.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during what is an uncertain and stressful time.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact your immediate supervisor or Alan Schmidt.
