EP 100 Edge Protection Machine

The servo-driven EP 100 Edge Protection Machine enhances the barrier of a paperboard package in an efficient and flexible process. The machine applies a tape to the exposed edge of the sidewall prior to the forming process. The tape is applied to a preheated blank, followed by pressure securing the tape evenly on both sides of the raw paperboard edge for increased product protection. This machine can be configured as an offline unit or inline with a PMC 2001S with rim flattening capabilities.
