Subject: Sidewall Stock Rollstand — Hydraulic Pump

Recommendations: 

All PMC cup machines using a single ENERPAC P-51 hydraulic pump to position the sidewall stock roll stand have at times developed a minute loss of pressure causing the stand to lower its set position.

This can be readily corrected by installing a ball check valve Apollo #73-101 and two 1/4 NPT close pipe nipples into the pump’s inlet line.

All required parts are available from PMC if not locally obtainable.
