Subject: Electronic Glue Valve System

Recommendations: 

All glue seal machines using an EFD type electronic glue valve system can be revised to use an improved Humphrey valve system. The new system provides a lower maintenance design as well as reduced parts replacement cost.

Experience to date has shown minimum adhesive leakage, improved glue pattern application or lay down, and reduced maintenance to revise the black plastic valve body system (ref. EFD) for each machine are:
