Subject: Lower Drive — Warning Label

Recommendations: 

Two warning labels with an adhesive backing are being supplied to all owners of the PMC-1001 cup forming machine along with a drawing #312-304 to show the required location for the labels. The bottom heat station and bottom pre-heat station have spring loading to keep the station cam follower against the station cam. If the lower drive chains need to be replaced the spring loading on both the bottom heat station and bottom pre-heat station must be removed prior to the chain repair to prevent injury to the mechanic. The spring loading has enough force to rotate the machine if the machine is stopped at one particular spot on the cam. So that the mechanic cannot be pinched if the machine were to rotate the station spring loading must be removed.
