Milwaukee, WI – Paper Machinery Corporation (PMC) was honored to receive the award for Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year at a ceremony held at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee hosted by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC).
The program was a celebration of the successes of manufacturers all across Wisconsin recognized for their contributions to innovation, philanthropy, technological advances, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the quality jobs that manufacturing companies create.
When accepting the award, PMC’s President and CEO, John Fortin, stated, “We have a great team of dedicated employees at PMC. We have a great workforce with generation after generation of employees that have followed in their footsteps before them. We’re looking forward to amazing success as we grow and build on what we’ve created in the State of Wisconsin. We took a stance earlier this year to participate in the cause of increasing outreach to the next generation of manufacturers, and we have joined with the GPS Education partners in Milwaukee to work with students. I encourage all of us to become engaged and build that excitement amongst our youth.”
