FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MILWAUKEE, WI – Paper Machinery Corporation (PMC) will exhibit at PACK EXPO International 2026, October 18–21 at McCormick Place in Chicago, where the company will showcase its TP3820 Paper Thermoforming Press in Booth S-1630.
The TP3820 expands PMC’s forming capabilities into paperboard tray production, giving packaging manufacturers another option for producing formed fiber-based packages at production scale.
Designed for flexibility and efficient production, the TP3820 uses pre-cut blanks and can produce up to 250 trays per minute. The machine accommodates both solid board and corrugated materials and features adjustable dwell, stroke height, and forming force to provide greater control across a range of tray designs and applications.
Quick-change tooling is designed to further support production flexibility, with tooling changes possible in under 30 minutes. The system also uses a dedicated die cart for tooling storage and changeover.
“PACK EXPO gives us an opportunity to show customers what paper thermoforming looks like in an actual production environment,” said Adam Wescott, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at PMC. “The TP3820 builds on PMC’s experience in paper forming while giving customers greater flexibility in the types of packages they can produce. We’re looking forward to having the machine on the show floor and demonstrating the technology in person.”
The TP3820 is part of PMC’s expanding portfolio of paper-forming equipment designed to help manufacturers meet changing packaging requirements while maintaining the productivity, reliability, and production performance expected from PMC machinery.
Visitors to Booth S-1630 will be able to see the TP3820 firsthand, review formed package samples, discuss applications with PMC’s team, and learn how the technology can fit into existing packaging operations.
