Subject: Cam Follower

Recommendations:

It is strongly recommended that only cam followers manufactured by the McGill company be used in PMC-machinery. The materials used by McGill provide the maximum load rating for any size follower as compared to other suppliers. Cam followers from such firms as Orange or Torrington have load ratings ten to fifty percent less than McGill, see the comparison chart:

On the critical turret index cams PMC supplies a special series of McGill cam followers having a closer tolerance outside diameter and internal construction tolerances. If you would care to use this grade of follower for replacement please order as:
