Subject: Rimming Ejector Pin Change — Retaining Ring

Recommendations: 

To extend the life of the retaining ring on the rimming turret ejector pins, PMC is offering a rework ejector pin drawing. This rework will accommodate heavy duty snap ring, #HW-11205.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Due to the material hardness, a carbide bit will be required to increase the size of the retaining ring groove. See drawing #226-500 for the groove rework.

To accommodate the heavy duty snap ring, the bearing housing will also need to be reworked as per drawing #226-501.
